The Watersports Industry Association (WSIA) is the voice of all towed watersports, advocating to preserve waterway access rights while developing best practices, promoting education and safety, and addressing the challenges we face in the marketplace to facilitate industry growth. Their mission to “promote and protect” is focused on the collective growth of every segment of towed watersports. The WSIA has championed the Pass the Handle initiative supported by Roswell Marine, inspiring watersports enthusiasts worldwide to get new people behind the boat each year and introduce them to life on the water.

Roswell Marine Partner Pass The Handle

What began as an annual one-day initiative to introduce new people to watersports is embodied year-round with Roswell and Centurion Boats brand ambassador Robby Maschhaupt. Robby’s passion for watersports and relentless commitment to spreading the stoke to others has transformed into a full-time Pass-The-Handle program that put over 750 riders on the water last year alone. Robby also hosts an annual Wake for Warriors event which brings injured military veterans together to get behind the boat at gatherings around the country. It’s safe to say that you would be hard-pressed to find someone more dedicated to sharing their passion for watersports anywhere in the world and we are proud to have him as a part of our family.

Roswell Marine Partner Wake The World

Wake the World (WTW) is a non-profit organization committed to giving underprivileged children, people with special needs, and wounded warriors a day on the water through local events sponsored by volunteer boat owners around the USA. Beginning with 8 families who took residents of a local children’s home out on the water for a day, WTW has grown to over 500 volunteer boats worldwide. For 2019, Roswell has partnered with Wake the World and Centurion Boats to sponsor a custom Wake the World Porsche Boxster to be auctioned off at this year’s Surf Expo in Orlando, FL. All proceeds will benefit Wake the World’s initiative of “caring through sharing the gift of water sports”.
