The 2020 Centurion World Wake Surfing Championships overcame every hurdle this year could throw at it and went down! Ft. Worth, Texas was the perfect setting and the creative team at Centurion Boats kept everyone in the game with a hybrid virtual and live event. Viewers tuning in were able to watch world championship runs submitted from all corners of the globe in the virtually contested divisions with live, on event site commentary. The Junior and Pro Divisions were given the opportunity to compete traditionally on the waters of Marine Creek Lake behind the Centurion Ri 245 as it pumped out Texas sized waves and smiles all weekend long.

Friday night, friends from across the country representing the Centurion factory team and dealerships joined us to experience a Texas tradition at Stockyards Championship Rodeo. The cowboys, cowgirls, rodeo clowns, bulls, broncs and beyond kept the high intensity that would come to define everything about our epic time in Texas.

Our amazing night with everyone at the rodeo led into the final day of action at the World Wake Surfing Championships. Roswell and Centurion team surfer Ashley Kidd looked amazing in the qualifying rounds, putting an emphasis on the ocean inspired style that has made her famous. The final was very close with Ashley staying true to her approach of going absolutely massive to take home her fifth world title!
